Fantastic location: the hostel was situated perfectly, with all the major attractions just a short walk away. It was great to have everything within easy reach. . Friendly staff: the staff were always welcoming and went out of their way to help. They made my stay even more enjoyable with their positive attitude and assistance. Well-equipped facilities: the hostel had all the necessary facilities, including a kitchen, lockers, and free WiFi. It was convenient and ensured that I had a comfortable stay.

Laundry and towels: the laundry and hired towels did not have a fresh smell. It would have been better if they were cleaned properly before use.

During my Xmas stay, I absolutely loved the stunning view from the apartment. It was breathtaking to look out and see the city skyline and the beautiful Castle. the location of the apartment was perfect, with lots of restaurants and tourist venues nearby. the convenience of having everything within walking distance made exploring the city so much easier. Lastly, I really enjoyed the daily cleaning service provided by the staff. It was nice to come back to a clean and tidy room every day.

The windows in the apartment were drafty, which made the room and corridors quite cold. the heating also wasn't strong enough, so I often felt the chill.

Great common areas and comfortable beds. the hostel had spacious lounges and common rooms, perfect for hanging out and meeting new people. the beds were comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. the location was fantastic, with a view of the famous castle, and the Grassmarket just around the corner. Plus, having the option to bring your own drinks was a bonus.

The dorms could have been cleaner. There were issues with dirty floors, hair from previous guests, and even insects in the beds.
